EDINBURGH 
AIRPORT

Edinburgh Airport is located 11 miles (17 km) west
of the City. 



Buses
leave
the terminal every 15 to 30 minutes for Waverly Bridge in the centre of Edinburgh. 
The bridge is above Waverly Railway Station.



Taxis
are
available outside the terminal.  Travel time is about 25 minutes to the
City but can take longer at rush hour.  Car rental
is available at the airport.  All major rental companies have counters in
the airport. 


GLASGOW  AIRPORT

Glasgow
Airport is located 9 miles (14 km) west of the the City centre and 2 miles north
of
Paisley.  The M8 Junction 28 gives access to and from the terminal.

   

Buses
leave
the terminal every 20 to 30 minutes throughout the day for Glasgow Central Railway
Station and  Glasgow Queen Street Station. 

   

Train

travel is available from Gilmour Street Station in Paisley.  It connects to
the terminal by taxi or
bus.  Trains run directly to Glasgow Central Station.  A bus service
connects Glasgow
Central and Glasgow Queen Street Stations.

     

Taxis
are
available outside the terminal. Travel time to the city centre is about 20
minutes.  Car rental
is available at the airport.  All major rental companies are represented.

 

TRAVEL  
BETWEEN   GLASGOW  AND  EDINBURGH

Buses leave
Glasgow Airport, stop at the bus station in central Glasgow, then continue on to St
Andrews Bus Station in the Edinburgh.  Travel time is about 1 hour and 40
minutes.



Train

services run regularly between Glasgow Queen Street Station and Edinburgh
Waverley Stations.

 DUNDEE 
AIRPORT

Glenfinnan,
Inverness.  The Monument to the Highlanders who followed Prince
Charles Edward in the ’45.  It was  erected in 1815 by Macdonald
of Glenaladale, a grandson of one of the Prince’s original supporters.
